hello babez this is Rusa speaking. I'm 16 turning 17 in April #0427. I first heard of neocities from tiktok but started to become properly interested from watching videos upon videos about the state of privacy online and in the US, amidst the ongoing ICE terrorism and just general state of the US and social media. You may recognize my name from my tiktok account, "superladyrusababy". I figured being chronically online social media wise was doing too much to my mental health and was even barring me from completing schoolwork on time due to procrastination. I also just felt i was being watched even in my own home. sooooo I'm breaking from it! not that i will completely cease to exist on tiktok (or will, who knows), but whatever i was gon do i'd rather my own website be the prominent force of my online presence. making hot take after hot take to get people to see me in the algorithm fucking sucks donkey nuts so i'm gon stop relying on it! if anything being on social media actually ruined my personality: i focused too much on what other people thought of me to the point where i only go surface level in all of my interests! I've become boring and anxious, who the hell wants that?
my favorite things to do is to sing, write, and draw. in that exact order (you could call that... an ordered list, haha ... okay.)! I've been drawing for almost my entire life and wish to fall in love with it again through this website! I'm currently writing a webseries on Substack called "Anywhere You Like, Bronze Babe," that's about two black women navigating their aroace lesbian identities as well as the queerplatonic relationship that they with eachother. It's funny! It's sensual! It's authentically black! And all in all it's a love letter to the aspec community and the cool shit we done been able to come up with. I hope y'all love it as much as I do, and I'll definitely keep working on it! I want to publish little one shots and poetry here too!
